These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SalonTrip Japan (“the Service”), operated by JGA Inc. (“we,” “us”). By using the Service or making a reservation, you agree to these Terms.
1. What we do
SalonTrip Japan is a booking-agency service. We list hair and beauty salons in Japan and, at your request, arrange an appointment on your behalf in exchange for a fixed reservation handling fee. We are not the provider of the salon services themselves; those services are provided by the independent salon you select, under its own terms and prices.
2. Reservations and fees
- A reservation handling fee of US$20 is charged per booking request at the time of submission, through our payment processor, Stripe.
- A booking request is a request: your appointment is confirmed once we have arranged it with the salon and sent you a confirmation e-mail.
- Salon service charges (cut, colour, treatment, etc.) are set by each salon and paid directly to the salon at your visit. They are not collected by SalonTrip Japan.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate booking and contact details.
- Arrive on time for your appointment, or cancel in good time in line with the salon's policy.
- Use the Service only for lawful, personal booking purposes.
4. Changes and cancellations
Requests to change or cancel an appointment are handled as described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Salons may apply their own cancellation or no-show charges, which are a matter between you and the salon.
5. Disclaimers
We take care to arrange bookings accurately, but we do not control the salons and cannot guarantee the availability, quality, or outcome of any salon service. Salon information (prices, hours, photos) is provided for guidance and may change. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and our liability is limited to the reservation handling fee you paid for the booking concerned.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its content and branding are owned by JGA Inc. or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of our head office as the court of first instance.
