JGA Inc. (“we”) operates SalonTrip Japan and respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it.
1. Information we collect
- Booking details — your name, e-mail address, and the salon, service, date and time you request.
- Account details — if you create an account: your name, e-mail, and optionally phone number, address, date of birth and gender that you choose to add to your profile.
- Payment information — card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles card data under its own security standards.
- Usage data — basic technical information (such as pages viewed) needed to operate and secure the site.
2. How we use it
- To arrange and confirm your salon appointment.
- To process the reservation handling fee and send you related e-mails.
- To provide customer support and to operate, secure and improve the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing
We share only what is necessary: the salon you book receives the booking details required to hold your appointment; Stripe receives the information needed to process payment; Resend (our e-mail provider) is used to deliver transactional e-mails. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Retention & security
We keep booking and account records only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect them.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask us to stop using it, by e-mailing reservations@salontrip.jp. Account holders can also update profile details directly on their account page.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your language choice. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
